The scientific team headed by our Chief Scientist in mid-2004 discovered stem/progenitor cells from the amniotic lining of the umbilical cord. CordLabs was incorporated as a technology service provider to partner existing cord blood banks globally in an effort to commercialise the future potentials of these cord lining stem cells.

Value Proposition
Skin: Our cells are not pooled and we are able to provide cell strains from various anatomical regions to your specification, be they for study or control purposes. We provide cell strains derived from normal human skin as well as from difficult-to-obtain scar tissue, specifically Keloid scars, Hypertrophic Scars and normal transitional skin isolated adjacent to the scar tissue.
Stem Cell possibility: Mesenchymal and Epithelial stem/progenitor cells can be isolated from a single source, the umbilical cord.
All cell strains are processed in CellResearch’s carefully supervised cell culture facility to ensure you receive only the highest quality low passage cell strains for your research.
