Environics has over 20 years experience in the design, development and manufacturing of CBRN detection products and systems. Environics is consistently providing State- Of -The –Art products to its customers. The technology for detection instruments dates back to early 1980’s when the R&D was started within Finnish Defence forces. The company was established in 1987.

The majority shareholder, The Finntement Group, provides the sound financial foundation and long-term commitment to maintain Environics technical superiority and cost effectiveness. Temet Oy a subsidiary of the Finntement Group, has been providing NBC defense equipment, components and materials for hardened shelters worldwide for over 50 years.

Recently, Environics has won many key international contracts for both fixed and portable detectors and systems, enabling significant growth for the company. The Netherlands Armed Forces selected Environics as supplier to their Handheld CWA Detector program. This customer has been extremely satisfied to the overall performance of the company.

Environics is a Prime Contractor of CBRN products and systems to governments worldwide. Environics is also the Prime Contactor to the Finnish Defense Force for the CBNS Technology Program. This new CBN network will incorporate State-Of-The-Art CWA and BWA detection products. Environics has delivered over 10,000 CWA Detectors and Detector Systems worldwide.
